FAQ's

Choosing a photographer is a big step in the wedding planning process and I want to give you all the information you may need to know! Below I have listed some frequently asked questions. If you have any further questions please let me know!

How does payment work?

A deposit is needed at the time of booking to hold your date. This deposit needs to be a minimum of $200. I am always open to setting up a payment plan that we can agree upon in advance. All payment must be paid in full by the date of the wedding for services to be completed.  You are welcome to pay by cash or check; whichever is best for you!

Who is your second shooter?

I am fortunate to have a wonderful second shooter who works with me with all my weddings! He is my husband, Nick Males! Nick is very talented and has done all my weddings with me. We use the same camera and equipment. Nick will most often work with the groomsmen and photograph all the small details at the wedding. He helps setting up large group poses and helps get any challenging shots where I can't be in two places at once.

Are you comfortable shooting at indoor and outdoor locations?

I have shot weddings in both indoor and outdoor locations. I am comfortable in any light and have lighting equipment to help with dark areas. No need to worry about the technicalities; we've got you covered!

How many photos can I expect to receive?

You will not receive an exact number of photos. On the day of the wedding we will take thousands of photos! I estimate that you will get about 75 edited photos an hour. This is not an exact number but trust me you will get plenty of photos!

How long does it take to get my photos back after the wedding?

After taking thousands of photos at your wedding, I will then sort through them and pick out the best photos. I then professionally hand edit each photo. I guarantee all the photos will be delivered by two months from the date of the wedding. As photos are being processed, I will send you sneak peaks and images you can share on social media because I know it is hard to wait!

What format are photos delivered in?

Digital photos are delivered in a high resolution jpeg format. This is a format that can be uploaded to social media but also printed in large sizes. I deliver the images via an online gallery that you can then download directly to your laptop/desktop/phone. Many couples decide to purchase a usb flash drive in addition in order to keep their images safe and to not take up space on your computer. You are welcome to order prints using the digital files from wherever you like, though I available to design a beautiful leather-bound wedding album for you!

Explain the engagement session process.

Engagement sessions are so fun and the pictures can be used for many purposes! We will decide on a date, time and location. The session will last for about an hour and we will get as many amazing photos as possible! These photos will be delivered in digital format through an online gallery. I am also available to design save the dates, guest books for your wedding reception, and albums with your engagement pictures! All additional products are a la carte pricing.
